Enjoyhotel Zur Krone is located directly beside the Moselle. From the hotel terrace you have a wonderful view of the river with the passing ships and the vineyards where the grapes for the delicious Moselle wines are grown. This green environment with its favourable climate is a favourite holiday destination for young and old alike. You can take lovely walks on the "Traumpfade" (Dream Paths). These great hiking trails take you along the Moselle, the Rhine or through the Eifel and Westerwald. Cycling enthusiasts can also take stunning trips along the river; the hotel provides bikes free of charge. And if you want to visit one of the nearby cities, such as Koblenz or Cochem, you can use public transport free of charge. On a boat trip on the river you will see the world from a different perspective.

Enjoyhotel Zur Krone has 30 rooms. These are accessible by lift and are fully equipped, including TV and bathroom with shower and toilet. Another 5 spacious rooms with balcony are located in the adjacent annex. These are on the 1st floor (no lift). In the restaurant, the team will pamper you daily with delicious meals. In the evening, you can enjoy a drink in the bar with fun and entertainment. In fine weather, take a seat on one of our two panorama terraces and enjoy the fantastic view. That's all you need for that real holiday feeling.

Can we pay by PIN/debit card in Germany?

Yes, you can pay with most Dutch bank and giro cards at our hotel.

Note: Rabobank cards only go up to 500 euros, no problems with all other banks including ABN-AMRO, ING, SNS. You can also withdraw cash at various ATMs in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Can I use Wi-Fi (Wireless Internet)?

Yes, you can use our wireless network for free by means of a unique code.

I have a special diet, can this be taken into account?

Yes, a lot is possible! Think for example of a gluten-free, yeast-free, lactose-free or vegetarian diet. Please inform us of your dietary requirements on arrival. Our chef will immediately get to work with your special request and prepare a tasty meal for you! Enjoy!

Is there enough parking space and is this free?

Hotel Zur Krone has ample parking space, there is a private parking lot next to the hotel, parking is completely free.

I can check in for the hotel room from 14:00. Can I arrive earlier?

Yes, one of the nice things is that it is no problem to arrive at our hotel a little earlier. For example, if you have already arrived at the hotel at 12.30, you can first enjoy lunch, with a nice cup of coffee. There is no better way to start your holiday, it's all included in your package.

Your room is available from 14.00, and if you are arriving later than 17.00, we would like to be informed of this so that we can hold your room.

Are there lockers?

No.

Are winter tyres mandatory in Germany?

In Germany, the use of winter tyres is regulated by law. These rules were further tightened in December of 2010. Below we provide an overview of the legal requirements in Germany.

In Germany it is mandatory to adapt the car equipment to the weather conditions. This means that you must use winter tyres if you are driving in winter conditions. According to the law, winter conditions are in any case involved in sleet, slippery conditions due to snow, snow mud and slippery conditions due to ice or frost.

Germany has no fixed period in which the use of winter tyres is mandatory.

In Germany, winter tyres with the snowflake symbol, M+S tires and all-weather tyres are allowed. The tread depth must be at least 1.6 mm, but at least 4 mm is recommended.

For which vehicles?

In Germany it is a code of conduct for ‘motor vehicles’. The requirements therefore also apply to motorhomes and motorcycles. There is no requirement for winter tyres (or snow chains) on caravans. However, it is allowed and it also provides better road holding for caravans.

Winter equipment

The obligation to have suitable winter equipment relates not only to the tyres but also to, for example, the windscreen washer fluid, the windscreen wipers and the coolant.

Traffic fines

Germany has a fixed fine for not using winter tyres in winter conditions: €40. In case of hindrance or endangerment, the fine is €80 and 1 penalty point (amounts apply from 4-12-2010).

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed.

Yes, we have two public charging stations at the rear of our hotel.

Is there a special charging point for electric bicycles?

No, there is no special charging point for electric bicycles. You can charge the batteries in your room

Are there e-bikes and/or regular bicycles for rent at the hotel?

There are only regular bicycles for rent at the hotel, these are free of charge. E-bikes can be rented 7 km from the hotel. Please inquire at the reception.

Is the area a hiking and/or cycling area?

The area is wonderful for cycling and hiking

Do the rooms have a fridge?

No, but if you need to keep medicines cool, we can of course take care of that. Please inquire at the reception upon arrival

Are bathrobes available?
