Nestling between the bronze-green Limburg hills, in the heart of the Heuvelland nature reserve, lies the well-known marlstone town of Valkenburg with its rich tourist tradition going back 125 years. In the charming centre, you are surrounded by history. But the surrounding area is also beautiful. From Valkenburg, you can easily explore the Limburg countryside and other countries are also nearby. Cities such as Maastricht, Aachen, Monschau, Liege and Cologne are easy to reach from the hotel. Prefer to enjoy some peace and quiet? Cycle or walk through the hills or drive to the Little Switzerland of the Netherlands and admire the picturesque villages and countryside of Limburg with its typical farmhouses with courtyards. Or drive across the border to Belgian Limburg and visit towns like Chaud-fontaine, Eupen and Spa.
Enjoyhotel Riche has 50 comfortable hotel rooms in three interconnected historic city buildings. There are lifts, but some rooms are accessed by stairs (up to 6 steps). You can book various upgrades at this hotel, such as a room with a balcony. Our hotel offers a splendid start to the day with a full breakfast. Take a packed lunch if you decide to go out, or enjoy lunch at the hotel. In the evening, we will pamper you with a table service 3-course choice dinner with salad. To round off the evening, we have a varied evening programme including an evening dance and a music evening.
