Bovenkarspel is the ideal starting point for cycling and walking tours through the beautiful, water-rich West Frisian landscape with its characteristic farmhouses, green meadows and vast tulip fields (blooming period mid-April to early May). Just 1.5 kilometres from the hotel is the Streekbos, a beautiful nature reserve with varied walking routes and a swimming lake with a sandy beach. Tip: visit the nostalgic Zuiderzee Museum, which brings life in the past back to life in a unique way (3 km).
