The hotel is situated in the varied landscape of the Werra Valley, where the River Werra winds its way through wooded hills, open fields and characteristic half-timbered villages. The former border between West Germany and East Germany has also left its mark here, visible in the landscape, former border posts, watchtowers, museums and memorial sites.

Enjoy Waldhotel Bad Sooden has 42 comfortable rooms, 6 of which are single rooms. The hotel is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom. Almost all rooms also have a balcony or terrace, where you can enjoy the fresh air and the surroundings. As the hotel is situated on higher ground, you’ll have a stunning panoramic view from the conservatory and the sun terrace by the swimming pool. For relaxation, you can make use of the hotel’s sauna. For fun and entertainment, you can play a game of billiards, darts or table football.
